Kwaggafontein Pilgrimage - Missional Expressions People Project
Come join the Mosaiek Missional Expressions team on an exciting Pilgrimage to the Emthonjeni property in Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga. It will be a full day including games for the kids of Kwagga, handing over canned food from our I CAN project, premises upkeep, and a community walk.
The Journey
07:30 Depart Mosaiek (Own transport)
Emthonjeni Community Centres received a donation of 30 wheelchairs from Network Caring and was able to distribute it in the communities that we work in. One of the ladies who received a chair…Elsie (in the photo Elsie is the one with the red hat), +/_ 70 years old, had fallen several times and was unable to walk. She was in the hospital in KwaMhlanga for 6 weeks and walking was still difficult. The wheelchair made a huge difference; without it she could not have gone home.
Emthonjeni seniors visit every day at our Zandspruit centre where they learn new skills from knitting jerseys to making beautiful quilts.
These craft are done with items that are sponsored.
Emthonjeni Community Centres are proud to announce that we have a prayer room (boiler room) at our Zandspruit Community Centre. This is a place for much needed silence, prayer and reflection for our staff and the community of Zandspruit.
Here we captured children praying during the Easter period.
