Plek van afsondering

Beskrywing:
Die Woestyn is ‘n plek van afsondering, ‘n eensame plek. In die Ou Testament sien ons hoe essensieel afsondering in Jesus se lewe was. Dit was ‘n patroon in Jesus se lewe. In Mattheus, Markus en Lukas sien ons wat met jou gebeur in afsondering en ons kyk ook na die eerste tree na ‘n lewe van afsondering. Ons word uitgenooi om in Jesus se voetspore te volg in ‘n lewe van afsondering.
 
While it was still night, way before dawn, he got up and went out to a secluded spot and prayed. Simon and those with him went looking for  him. They found him and said, “Everybody’s looking for you.” Jesus said, “Let’s go to the rest of the villages so I can preach there also. This is why I’ve come.”

As often as possible Jesus withdrew to out-of-the-way places for prayer...
The healing power of God was on him. "Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace."
